What are the types of letters? 

Letters are classified in two categories i.e., Formal and Informal Letters.

Formal Letters are the letters in which we share our thoughts, ask for any permission etc. from people from any company, principals and class teachers, Municipal Corporation, librarian and others.

Informal Letters are the letters in which we talk with our family members such as father, mother, brother, friends and other lover ones.
